Junior Designer (Full Time)

We’re looking for a Junior Designer who wants to influence positive change through clever design. We need a well-rounded, team-player to help drive our studio forward with strong creative ideas, excellent design skills, meticulous attention to detail and smart strategic thinking.
About the Role
As a Junior Designer, you’ll work alongside other designers, reporting to senior creatives to push the work forward at every step. You’ll help us create work for our clients which is bold, conceptual and different.
What you’ll do:
- Brainstorm initial ideas and carry them through the development stage with feedback from senior creatives along the way.
- Assist in rolling out creative collateral.
- Prepare creative work for print or final digital files.
- Interpret and understand briefs from senior creatives.
- Cultivate strong working relationships with the team through effective communication and collaboration.
- Approach challenging project issues with a positive and solutions-oriented mindset, ensuring a high standard of work ethic.
- Work both independently and collaboratively on a project from strategy to finished product with extremely high attention to detail.
About You
You’re optimistic and driven.
You’re curious and willing to learn.
You have experience creating design work to a brief.
You’re comfortable working within Adobe Creative Suite: Ai, Ps, In (Ae preferable but not required)
You’re passionate about all things design and immerse yourself in the industry.
You embrace new technologies, software and ideas, and are excited about building them into your creative process.
Your talent comes without ego.
You’re a team player who’ll fit into our design-driven, collaborative team
You are efficient, organised, and able to work under tight deadlines.
You have an understanding of visual design fundamentals: typographic hierarchy, colour theory & layout principles.
You are meticulously detail-oriented and are sensitive to consistencies in style, spacing, layout, etc.
You are passionate about causes - any cause, you just need to care about having a positive influence.
You’re conscious about the impact that design has on both people & planet.

Our approach to remote work will continue to be flexible, but we will prioritise candidates excited by the prospect of working from our Holywood studio, especially within the probationary period.
