At Clever Ghost, we’re always looking for ways to keep our creative juices flowing and our copywriting muscles well trained. Enter Wash-a-Pig, a Kickstarter funded card game by Todd Turner that promises to help overcome and prevent creative block.

Wash-a-Pig adds a fun element to creative copywriting, turning it into a game you can play solo or with an entire team. The premise is simple: pick a WHAT card and a WHO or HOW card, then write a headline answering the resulting brief. For example, our first draw was to ‘Write a headline for roof repair speaking to sneakerheads’.

We’ve incorporated Wash-a-Pig into our studio by introducing Wash-a-Pig Weekly, where we draw 2 cards every Monday and then we all catch up on our creative headlines on Friday. So far, it’s been a fun, light-hearted way to exercise our creative muscles as a team (and it’s usually pretty funny too).
